Corona, it's been awhile but after almost a full year without throwing axes with an enthusiastic crowd finally I got the OK for an event. After sadly dismantling and selling our mobile axe throwing trailer I had to shift gears fast and make a new end grain target and tent etc... for a total of 16 days back to back of Axe throwing. The thing is, a weekend event is fine but a fat two weeks can be hard on your targets and axes. So instead of the usual board targets, I made a big end grain target with special steel reinforcements on the back to hold and clamp the wood together. Worked wonderful! I can really recommend using end grain wood for Axe Throwing. And on we go:-)
